A big congratulations to Carmelo, one of our Ironworkers, for being recognized as our latest Line of Fire honoree! 🎉

Carmelo earned this recognition after spotting a potential equipment hazard on the job and taking immediate action. He reported the issue to his supervisor and removed the equipment from service before it could become a bigger safety concern. 🦺 His attention to detail and willingness to speak up are a great example of the safety mindset we value at PBI.

Our Line of Fire program encourages team members to stay alert, recognize potential hazards, and take action to help prevent incidents before they happen. It’s one of the ways our team plays an active role in keeping safety at the forefront on every jobsite.

Congratulations, Carmelo, and thank you for looking out for your team and helping keep our jobsites safe! 👏

We’re proud to share another safety achievement for the PBI team! 🦺

PBI has received the Associated General Contractors of America Certificate of Commendation for Excellent Safety Record in 2025, recognizing our zero incidence rate in the Associate/Specialty Contractor category for 70,000 to 324,999 work hours. 🏆

An achievement like this comes down to what happens on our jobsites every day. It takes our entire team staying alert, following safe work practices, speaking up when something doesn’t look right, and looking out for one another.

Thank you to every member of the PBI team for doing your part and continuing to make safety a priority. Your dedication and commitment are what make milestones like this possible. 👏

We're excited to welcome a familiar face back to the PBI team! 👏

Tim's career in steel er****on began in 1976 as an apprentice ironworker, eventually leading him to Peterson Brothers in 1990 as a Project Manager. He continued growing with the company through the formation of Peterson Beckner Industries, ultimately serving as Vice President before retiring in 2023.

After a few years of retirement spent traveling with his wife, Nicky, on their Harley-Davidson motorcycles 🏍️ and focusing on health and fitness, an exciting opportunity brought Tim back to PBI.

Today, he serves as a Senior Project Manager, helping lead construction efforts on a data center project in North Texas while mentoring and sharing his experience with the next generation of PBI leaders and craftsmen.

For Tim, coming back means another opportunity to tackle the kind of challenging projects he's always enjoyed, work alongside a talented team, and share what he's learned throughout his career with the next generation.

Welcome back, Tim! 🎉 We’re glad to have you back on the team and look forward to seeing your leadership and knowledge at work on another exciting project.

Twenty-five years later, September 11 remains a day that forever changed our nation. 🕯️

We remember the lives lost, the families forever impacted, and the first responders and everyday Americans who answered tragedy with extraordinary courage and selflessness.

While that day shaped our country, it did not define us. In the days and years that followed, we saw the strength, compassion, and unity of people coming together when it mattered most. 🤝

On this 25th anniversary, PBI remembers those we lost, honor those who stepped forward, and reflect on what September 11 continues to mean to our nation.

We will never forget. ⭐

A big congratulations to Gerardo, one of our Ironworkers, for being recognized as a PBI Super Hero this month! 🦸‍♂️

Although Gerardo is relatively new to PBI, he has already shown a strong commitment to safety and an eye for catching potential issues. He consistently takes the time to thoroughly inspect his rigging and equipment before work begins and has identified multiple pieces of defective equipment that needed to be removed from service. By speaking up and taking action, Gerardo helped address potential hazards before they could put anyone at risk. ⚠️

Gerardo says he enjoys working alongside his coworkers and is excited to continue learning and growing every day. That positive attitude, combined with his willingness to take ownership of safety, is exactly what being a PBI Super Hero is all about.

Congratulations, Gerardo, and thank you for staying alert, taking initiative, and helping keep those around you safe! 👏

At PBI, we're proud to recognize team members who lead by example and make safety a priority every day.

At PBI, technology is helping us take a smarter approach to safety in the field. 🔍

From 3D lift planning that helps our teams prepare for complex lifts before work begins, to digital auditing tools that make it easier to track safety information in real time, technology is becoming an important part of how we work. QR codes on hard hats and iPads also give supervisors quick access to each employee's current training and certifications, so the information they need is right at their fingertips on the jobsite.

These tools help our teams plan ahead, stay informed, and catch potential concerns early. They're another way we're continuing to strengthen a safety culture built around preparation, communication, and looking out for one another. 🦺

At PBI, we're always looking for practical ways to use technology to make planning stronger, information easier to access, and our jobsites safer. 📲
