This feels especially meaningful.

The Dryes will be performing at our Beacon at the Blue Magnolia Gala in support of Project Beacon on September 25, which also happens to be National Dolly Parton Day.

Here’s a beautiful tribute from The Dryes to the one and only Dolly Parton.

How fitting that they’ll be taking our stage on a day that celebrates her incredible life, music, and legacy.

We will miss you, Dolly. ❤️

Girls just wanna have fun.

Coffee, refreshers, good conversation and some time to chill.

Our Beacon Access Center Pathways participants enjoyed getting out of the building, catching up with friends, and treating themselves to a little Dutch Bros Coffee run.

Sometimes a good day looks like learning a new skill.
Sometimes it looks like good drinks and even better company.

I ❤️🤍💙 USA.🗽

Today, we remember September 11 and the lives, families, and communities forever changed by that day.

In honor of the day, we’re sharing a few of the patriotic pieces our Beacon Access Center Pathways participants created during a recent visit to The Woodlands Art League.

Each participant painted a wood plank heart featuring the American flag, adding their own creativity and personal touch along the way. Thank you Woodlands Art League for your artistic guidance and the The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for awarding us the Big Idea Grant for 2026. This is a collaboration made in the USA.

These pieces will have another special moment in 2027 where they will be showcased at the Kevin Brady Community Center. Stay tuned for an invitation.

We’re proud to share their work, grateful for the community that helped make it possible, and honored to celebrate the red, white, and blue together.

Our President, CEO & Co-Founder, Kelly Baughman, delivered a powerful talk at Tetra, inspired by the film "Thinking in a Different Key".

One question asked of a full room: "Does anyone here know someone with autism? Over half the room raised their hands. This is significant because it is also what we see on a larger scale. In Montgomery County alone, there are just over 53,000 adults living with autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Out of that number 19% live with an aging parent or caregiver 60 or older. Think about that for a minute and ask yourself, what happens when that caregiver is gone? Project Beacon is having the important conversation about seeing possibilities differently. For more information visit www.projectbeacontx.org.

You never know what kind of fun surprises you’ll find at the Beacon Access Center!

On this day, My Reptile Guys stopped by for a special demonstration, giving our young adult participants the chance to get up close with some incredible animals. They even got to touch and hold a snake!

A big thank you to My Reptile Guys for creating such a memorable experience, and to MCCFoundation TX for providing funding that helps make opportunities like this accessible to the individuals we serve at Project Beacon.

Root beer floats? Yes, please.

Every morning at Pathways, our participants learn about the National Day through National Today . When we discovered it was National Root Beer Float Day, we knew we had to celebrate.

The group headed to the grocery store, picked out their ice cream and root beer, brought everything back to the Beacon Access Center, and made their own root beer floats.

A little history, a trip to the store, making choices, following a plan, and, of course, enjoying the delicious results.

We’ll take any National Day that comes with ice cream🍦
