On June 28, Cat Haven Rescue will be attending the Houston Cat Expo with adoptable cats looking for their future families.

To make this event a success, we need volunteers!

Every conversation you have, every photo you take, and every cat you help showcase could lead to a life-changing adoption.

We’re looking for volunteers to help:
✨ Introduce cats to visitors
✨ Assist potential adopters
✨ Share our rescue’s mission
✨ Help with event setup and breakdown
✨ Capture content throughout the event

You don’t need experience—just a love for cats and a willingness to help.

🚨 IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS— Foster and Transporters

We currently have one transporter available to transport cats.
We are in need of helpers. Taking cats to the vet, emergency appointments, and pick up or drop off for standard spay and neuter vet appointments.

We like to have standby transporters for emergencies while other transporters handle standard transports for us. Having this system in place helps our kitties in the long run.

Fosters 🐱
Short term and Long term needed. Care for cats until they are adopted or agree on a specific time frame. A room, a bathroom, out and about or in an enclosure. We screen our fosters and work with you on the number of cats, ages, etc that you can foster.

Calling All Volunteers! 🐾

We’re looking for caring, reliable volunteers to help support our rescue cats at our Petco location (Spencer Rd & Highway 6).

Spend time socializing with our kitties while also helping keep their space clean and organized!

Volunteer Responsibilities:
• Spend 10, 30, or 60 minutes socializing with cats
• Clean kennels and maintain a sanitary environment
• Help restock supplies and keep storage organized
• Learn the basics of cat care and behavior

What You’ll Gain:
• Hands-on experience with rescue cats
• Creditable volunteer hours
• The chance to make a real impact 🐱💚
