Building a family isn't always simple. JFF Houston is here to help Jewish individuals and couples in the Greater Houston area on their journey to parenthood—with financial support, community, and care.
They're currently accepting applications for grants of up to $10,000 per year (for two years) for qualified participants, plus a 20% discount on treatment with participating Houston-area doctors and clinics. Funds are limited and awarded to qualified applicants first, so early applications are encouraged. All applications are received and processed confidentially.

Our staff spent the morning getting certified in CPR and first aid—learning the skills we hope we'll never need, but will always be ready to use.
Our team is now certifiably ready for anything. 😄

🎉 Happy Birthday to our beloved Rabbi Danny Horwitz! 🎂
For many years, Rabbi Danny has been a treasured part of the Beth Yeshurun family, and we recently had the joy of honoring his devotion to our shul. And while he may have passed the yad as our Torah Reader, his passion hasn't slowed one bit—he remains an active and beloved teacher, and we are so fortunate to keep learning from his deep love of Torah.
Rabbi Danny, thank you for your wisdom, your dedication, and your heart. We hope your day is as special as you are! 💙

Every Passover we say Arami Oved Avi—"My father was a wandering Aramean." The Torah asks us to remember where we came from, because memory creates obligation. Our lives rest on the shoulders of people who risked everything and never saw how the story turned out.

🎉 Happy Birthday to our wonderful Religious School Program Assistant, Malka Plummer! 🎂
The candles may be a day late, but our appreciation is right on time. Malka is the kind of person who quietly keeps everything running—always ready to roll up her sleeves and get the job done with a smile. And she's doing it now more than ever as she gets everything ready to welcome our kids back to school next month!
