The Mercy Tree

In July 2013, we took a leap of faith and created a nonprofit charitable organization called, “The Mercy Tree.” The mission of The Mercy Tree is to feed homeless people in the Clear Lake area. Currently, these meals are prepared offsite by volunteers and delivered and served to homeless clients at various churches in the Clear Lake area. We also have volunteers who serve by picking up donated food, clothing and toiletries around the Clear Lake Area. The Mercy Tree is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. As such, we are completely dependent on volunteers and donations (monetary and in kind) to remain operational. We believe that The Mercy Tree is God’s vision and, as such, He will continue to provide everything needed in order for us to carry out His Will.
