Generation One is a Christ-centered nonprofit in Houston, TX, providing high-quality early childhood education, social-emotional learning, therapeutic support, and family programs that help children and families learn, grow, and thrive. Generation One Academy helps children build academic, social-emotional, and developmental skills in a nurturing learning environment. Our Empowered Families program supports students and families through assessments, in-house Speech and Play Therapy at no cost when needed, and family engagement opportunities. We are committed to helping children thrive, empowering families, and creating opportunities for every child to reach their fullest potential.

Sticky notes were placed around the room and we went to search for them and match them the the letters up front.
This exercise works on letter recognition, letter names and sounds!

To finish off our week of learning about all about me, we traced our bodies and let the children get creative as they colored their own body outlines! This fun activity helped us practice body awareness, following directions, fine motor skills, and creativity. 💕🖍️✨

Today, we remember and honor the lives impacted by September 11, 2001. We pray for the families who carry the weight of that day and give thanks for the courage and sacrifice of so many.
