FAMILY APPEALS FOR HELP AS BOUEST STUDENT GOES MISSING IN EKITI

The family of Kehinde Adeola, a 20-year-old student of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Science and Technology (BOUEST), Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has appealed to the general public for assistance in locating him after he was reported missing on August 3, 2026.

In an interview by Omo Edema, Kehinde’s father, Sunday Adedeji, said Kehinde went to school on August 3, dropped his bag in class and left, but did not return for his next class. No one was able to account for his whereabouts.

The family, accompanied by the university’s Dean of Student Affairs, reported the matter at the police station in Anayi, Ikere-Ekiti. The case was subsequently transferred to Ado-Ekiti, after which the police directed the family to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) for further investigation.

The family said phone tracking by the RRS indicated that Adeola’s phone was active around the Igbara, Ogotun and Ipeju-Ijesha axis on August 4. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact his father, Sunday Adedeji, on 08167127105, or report to the nearest security agency.
