This past semester I have been feverishly working towards my solo exhibition Sanctuary for Salvage. Repurposing old molds and using cast off materials as molds, I’m making parts that will stack into columns to build a ruin that is site specific to the Craft Garden. Sharing a little teaser here of some of these parts. Come out next Saturday the 30th from 3-5pm for the reception and witness a sculpture Raku fired in-situ!

Just thought I’d share on this Sunday morning an exhibition I have coming up with Poetics of the Mundane groups objects and paintings inspired by everyday items and the transition that takes place in making an aesthetically pleasing art work from this seed of inspiration. Opening reception May 2nd from 5-8pm.
