Houston Impact Network

We love Houston because Houston is more than a city. It’s neighborhoods and churches. Families and businesses. Cultures, communities, and people from every walk of life, all woven together into something incredibly special.

We’ve seen this city celebrate together, rebuild together, serve together, and show up for one another when it matters most. That's why Houston means so much to us.

We care deeply about the people who call Houston home. We care about the needs that exist in our communities. And we care enough to help build the relationships, partnerships, and networks that allow churches and organizations to respond with greater unity and greater impact.

Because loving a city means more than saying you love it. It means showing up for it.

Houston, this is what unity looks like. 🙌🏽

Last week HoustonPrayer247 hosted Communion Houston, believers from across our city gathered as one body, at one table, serving one God and it was a powerful picture of what can happen when the Church comes together across communities, denominations, and neighborhoods.

At Houston Impact Network, we believe there is incredible Kingdom impact when churches choose connection over isolation and unity over division. One Church. One City. One Kingdom. ❤️🙏🏽

The conversations that shape Houston’s future are happening in one room. Will YOU be there?

Houston’s leaders. Visionaries. Changemakers. The people driving meaningful impact across our region. They are all coming together for Houston Impact Network’s State of the City this November, and this is an event you don’t want to miss.

This is more than an opportunity to connect. It’s a chance to be part of the conversations, relationships, and strategic partnerships that will shape what’s next for Greater Houston.

The question is: Will we see you there?

Housing instability and homelessness affect individuals and families across our city in ways that are often complex and deeply personal. Addressing those challenges takes more than one organization, one church, or one solution.

At Houston Impact Network, we believe the Church can play an important role by listening, learning, building relationships, and partnering with those already doing meaningful work in our community.

Our Housing & Homelessness Collaborative Forums bring local leaders and experts together to talk honestly about the realities of homelessness in Houston, the barriers people face in finding stable housing, and practical ways churches can respond with compassion, resources, and long-term support.

When we come together, share what we know, and work toward solutions side by side, we can help create stronger pathways toward stability and hope.

Today, we celebrate the people whose hard work, dedication, and service help our communities thrive. From those serving behind the scenes to those leading on the front lines, your work makes an impact and we couldn't do what we do without YOU!

Wishing you and your family a safe and restful Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Why Join Houston Impact Network?
✝️ Unity is our gospel witness. Jesus prayed the church would function in unity for the sake of the world (John 17:20-23).
🤝 This work is hard. We need each other. No church — big or small — has everything it takes to bring lasting change alone.
🛠️ Get access to proven resources. Best practices, tools, and partner connections built from helping hundreds of churches make real impact.

Ever wonder what actually makes a coalition of churches work, instead of just existing on paper?

Research on collective impact points to five conditions: a shared agenda, shared measurement, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication, and one organization holding it all together as the "backbone."
That last piece is us.

We don't replace what churches are already doing. We coordinate it. Tracking what's working, closing communication gaps, and making sure effort in one part of Houston reinforces effort in another instead of duplicating it.
It's the infrastructure behind the impact you see.
