The Houston Harris County Retired Teachers Association (HHCRTA) celebrated 75 years of existence last Thursday, May 28, 2026!
For entertainment, we sang “Every Praise” and danced and play kazoos on the song “Crocodile Rock!” Our attire was 50’s style! Needless to say, we had a BLAST!
Service Awards were given to those who have continued to work hard for the chapter. The HEARTBEATS, our brave music retirees, were given Performance Awards.
Four $1,000 Scholarships were given away to 4 seniors!
The upcoming officers for 2026-2028 were installed by our District 4 Treasurer, Mary Widmier!
HHCRTA had a wonderful year THANKS to our president, Muriel Jackson, our board members, and ALL of the members working together for the good of the organization! Enjoy the photos.
