I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Sean Doyle and got to learn about his heart for League City. Sean is a local businessman, husband, and father who cares deeply about our community and wants to preserve the quality of life that makes League City such a special place to call home.
We talked about the importance of supporting our first responders, investing in roads and drainage, and making smart, responsible decisions with the next 20 years in mind—not just the next election cycle. Those are the kinds of conversations and priorities our city needs.
I'm proud to endorse Sean Doyle for League City Council and encourage you to take the time to get to know him. I believe he'll be a thoughtful, hardworking voice for our families, neighborhoods, and future. ☘️👍

As we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s great experiment in self-governance, I reflect on George Washington's words to James Madison a decade after the revolution:
"Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth."
May we never lose sight of the importance of nurturing that seed of liberty for freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. Happy Independence Day, y’all! 🇺🇸

Happy Father’s Day to all of the great dads out there! My prayer for our country today is that a generation of men will commit themselves to the hard work of being great dads. We need it now more than ever. ❤️

We’re expecting several more rounds of rain over the next couple of days across Galveston County, Texas and our region. Our Emergency Management Office is closely monitoring conditions and staying in contact with weather officials and local partners.
The primary concern will be street flooding during periods of heavy rainfall. If you encounter a flooded roadway, don’t take the risk. Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
Now is the time to stay informed. Follow a trusted news source, monitor forecast updates from US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas, and plan ahead as conditions change.
