Move-in day is almost here, and three campuses are ready for it!

At Southwestern University, our team delivered two new residence halls (280 beds) and a 23,000-square-foot Welcome Center with Kirksey | Architecture. At The University of Texas at Arlington, Maverick Hall opens with 654 beds across five stories, designed with Grace Design Studios. And at Baylor University, our renovation of Kokernot Residence Hall brings 159 beds of refreshed space back to campus, in partnership with Mackey Mitchell Architects.

Three campuses, three design teams, and a lot to be proud of this move-in season. We're grateful to have worked alongside all of them.

Wishing all students and families a smooth move-in and a great year ahead.

Who knew that our first Clay Shooting Tournament in 2022 would grow into one of our favorite—and most charitable—annual events?!

This past year, Linbeck raised $150,000 to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, Cook Children's, and Forest Forward. While different in who they impact and how they impact our communities, these organizations are touching the lives of Texans everywhere.

They are supporting our youth, providing care to children, and revitalizing neighborhoods.

Thank you to all of our friends and industry partners for showing up and supporting the life-changing work of BGCGH, Cook Children’s, and Forest Forward. We are excited for Year 5 and hope you are too!

This summer, Linbeck welcomed interns across our Houston, North Texas, and Central Texas offices — working alongside our teams from the field to preconstruction and marketing. From site tours and volunteer work to baseball games, soccer games, and other team events, their curiosity, hard work, and fresh perspective made a real impact on our projects and our culture.

Building for the future isn’t just about the structures we deliver. It’s about investing in the people who will shape our industry tomorrow.

To all our summer interns: thank you for your energy, your ideas, and your dedication. We hope you learned as much from us as we learned from you! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Texas has officially hit triple digits, and TCU – Texas Christian University’s 7-degree snow room is the perfect answer to the heat!

This first-of-its-kind recovery space for the Horned Frogs gives student-athletes a place to cool down, recover, and reset after training.

☀️ Chairback seats + sunshade canopy
🎙️ New press box
🛋️ Division I locker room with direct dugout access

Nine months. Doubled scope. Zero missed milestones. 💪

It’s been great to see the ballpark already hosting youth K-8 summer clinics and the ACU Invitational prospect camp for athletes from 9th grade through college sophomores. Congrats to ACU Baseball on a great inaugural season; here’s to many more! 💜

Triple-digit temperatures are here, and Texas summer is officially in full swing. ☀️🌡️

Across our jobsites, hydration reminders like these help keep heat safety front and center for every worker on site. When temperatures hit 100°F and climb, staying hydrated, taking breaks, and looking out for one another becomes essential.

Whether you’re working outdoors, heading to a job site, or just spending time outside this summer, make water a priority and keep an eye on the people around you.

Stay safe, Texas. 💧

Halfway through summer and our interns have been crushing it since late May!

What started with signing day has quickly turned into real-world experience, with our 2026 summer intern class contributing on job sites, with project teams, and alongside the many departments that help bring our work together every day.

We’re proud of the momentum they’ve built so far and excited to see what the rest of the summer holds.

PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT: Linbeck is thrilled to collaborate with the Texas Historical Commission for the preservation, restoration, and new construction of the San Jacinto Museum and Battleground in La Porte, Texas!

Led by Design and Production Incorporated, this monumental (literally) project adheres to the “Everything Is Bigger in Texas” mentality. This is where our state won its independence in 1836 and where the 567.31-foot monument was erected in 1936.

And now, 90 years later, the monument grounds are getting a careful, preservation-minded makeover that includes the restoration of the original monument, construction of a new museum and visitor center, and addition of a replica battleground that brings the story of Texas Independence to life.

As a Houston-based firm with deep Texas roots, we are honored to be a part San Jacinto’s continued legacy through this impactful project.

We look forward to working alongside the all-star cast of designers and consultants that includes:
▶ New Construction Design: Lake Flato Architects
▶ Historic Monument Preservation: Lord Aeck Sargent | Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates - WJE
▶ Interpretive Design: Gallagher & Associates, LLC
▶ Site Restoration and Enhancements: TBG Partners

Restoring one of Texas’ most iconic landmarks takes a team with the right experience and a respect for history.

That’s why the San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield Association and the Texas Historical Commission have selected Houston-based as the general contractor for the San Jacinto Monument capital project.

With nearly 90 years of experience in historic preservation and complex civic projects, Linbeck will help bring to life a restored monument, a new visitor center, enhanced grounds, and improved visitor amenities.
