The Bark Box

Hi, I’m Ariel. 🩷

I’m a Houston-based animal-care professional, veterinary technician student, entrepreneur, and future veterinarian with a career built around one thing: animals.

My journey in veterinary medicine started over 10 years ago, and since then I’ve had the opportunity to work in several areas of animal care, including:

🐾 Veterinary Assistant
🐾 Animal Enforcement Officer
🐾 Pet Care Professional
🐾 Veterinary Technician Student
🐾 Small Business Owner

I’ve worked with animals in clinical settings, emergency situations, private homes, and community environments experiences that have taught me that caring for animals takes far more than loving them. It takes knowledge, patience, confidence, compassion, and hands-on experience.

Today, I’m continuing my education as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, working toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technologist (LVTg) and eventually pursuing my DVM.

My long-term goal is to become a veterinarian with a strong interest in theriogenology, reproduction, breeding medicine, cardiology, and large-animal medicine. I’m especially interested in building a career where I can combine hands-on veterinary medicine with reproductive care and responsible breeding.

Welcome to my journey. 🐾🩺🎓💕
