Pure Justice

“Affordable” doesn’t mean much if you still can’t afford to live.

A criminal-legal record can follow someone long after their sentence ends, but what happens when those consequences collide with an affordability crisis? With affordability on the ballot, now is the time to understand what’s at stake for our communities.

Join us to talk about it. VIRTUALLY!

📸 A few highlights from the 2026 Expunction & Supportive Services Resource Clinic! We were grateful for the opportunity to participate and connect with community members while sharing information about our organization and current campaigns. Thank you to the organizers for bringing together organizations and resources to support the community! 💙

Last Friday, Pure Justice brought voter registration and civic engagement to Houston Heights High School! 🗳️✨
Our Organizing Manager, Joy Davis, and Voter Engagement Organizer, Victor, led an inspiring event focused on empowering students with the knowledge and tools to participate in our democracy.

From registering to vote to learning more about civic engagement, every conversation is a step toward building a more informed and engaged community.

Thank you to Houston Heights High School for welcoming us and to the students who showed up, asked questions, and engaged! ❤️

Last week, we held three separate blockwalking sessions across the Northside of Houston.

We went door-to-door in areas where community members have had limited engagement, listening directly to residents and learning more about the issues and concerns affecting Northline and surrounding communities.

Three sessions. One goal: listening to the community and making sure residents’ voices are heard.

Last week, Pure Justice joined the community at St. John’s Downtown for voter registration and voter registration status checks. 🗳️
We’re proud to support civic participation and help community members access the information they need to stay engaged in the democratic process.

🗳️ Today is National Voter Registration Day!

Your voice matters, and making sure you’re registered is an important part of participating in our democracy. Take a moment today to check your registration status and make sure your information is up to date.
