Second Chance Pets
SCP is a foster-based rescue group. All cats are tested for FIV and Leukemia, fully vaccinated, fixed, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped.
All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. The Adoption Fees are $110 for cats (or $175 for two cats) and $190 for dogs (or $245 for puppies). Since all of our pets are in foster homes, an individual pet may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If interested in one of our pets please feel free to complete an application, found on our website, and return it to us for pre-approval or send us an email so we can make sure that particular pet will be at our adoption event. We do not have a phone number so please e-mail us.

🍂🎃 Spooky season has officially arrived! 🎃🍂
The pumpkins are out, the cats and dogs costumes are being planned, and our adorable adoptable kitten Greased Lightning is ready to steal the Halloween spotlight! 🖤🤍
Just look at this little tuxedo cutie posing with his jack-o'-lantern. We think he'd make the purr-fect addition to your spooky season festivities. 👻🐾
Now for the important question... why do you think he was named Greased Lightning? 🤔⚡
Is it because: 🏎️ He zooms around at lightning speed? 🎭 He has star quality worthy of a certain musical? 🐾 He's too fast to catch when it's playtime? 😸 Something else entirely?
Drop your guesses in the comments! And if you're looking for a sweet, playful sidekick to celebrate Halloween and every season after, Greased Lightning is waiting to meet you. ❤️

Big dogs and little dogs don’t always become best friends... but nobody told Matilda, Pluto, and Orion! 🐾❤️
Tiny Matilda, our Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, has found her perfect foster siblings in Pluto and Orion, two German Shepherd mixes many times her size. Despite their differences, these three are inseparable—sharing adventures, snuggles, and proving that friendship comes in all sizes.
Now this adorable trio is searching for their own furever homes. Could one of them be your newest best friend? 🏡✨
