If you have been thinking about investing in real estate but have no idea where to start, this is for you. Even if you have never bought a home before. 🧡

I always tell people, do not overcomplicate it.

Start with your first home.

Buy it as your primary residence. Live in it. Learn what it means to own property. Build equity.

Then, when the time is right, instead of selling it, keep it as a rental and buy your next home.

Now you have the home you live in and your first investment property.

Then you keep building from there.

This is one of the ways I have always looked at real estate. You do not need to wake up one day and own 20 properties. You start with one. Then another. Then another.

And yes, there are a lot of details that go into this. Financing matters. Your income matters. The property matters. The numbers have to make sense. That is why having the right lender, Realtor, and property manager around you is so important.

But I want people to understand that real estate investing does not always have to start with some huge investment property.

Sometimes it starts with the house you are already buying for yourself.

I believe in real estate because I have seen what it can do over time, and I believe in practicing what I preach.
