The Growing Stronger Together Conference is designed to empower parents and self-advocates with practical information, valuable resources, and effective strategies to confidently navigate special education and disability services.

• Resources from professionals and community organizations
• Opportunities to connect with other families and self-advocates
🎓 We'll have both Parent Sessions and Youth Sessions—all in one place!

✅ The conference is FREE, but registration is required.
✅ Youth ages 14 and older must register for the youth-specific sessions.

🎒 **Transition Law: Students Must Learn to Self-Advocate Before College**

IDEA transition services should help students develop the self-advocacy skills they will need after high school. Unlike high school, colleges do not identify students for services or automatically provide accommodations. Students must learn how to request accommodations, understand their disability, and communicate their needs to the college's disability services office.

💡 *Learning to speak up for yourself is one of the most important skills you can take to college.*
