Earlier this year, we launched a new pilot initiative – the Rehearsal Support Program – that aimed to increase access to affordable rehearsal space for independent choreographers and small dance companies. Through the program, eligible DSH members can access $15/hr studio space at our 3 RSP partner studios for rehearsals and creative practice.

📣 AIR Announcement! 📣

Dance Source Houston is excited to announce the 2026-27 Artists In Residence – Persi Mey & Isabella Mireles Vik. Join us in congratulating this year's AIR cohort!

Persi & Isabella will receive ongoing mentorship, artistic and professional development, and a monetary stipend during the 9-month program, culminating in the presentation of new works at Barnstorm Dance Fest next April.

Call For Proposals: Dancer Wellness Series

Submit your proposal to lead a Dancer Wellness Series session on January 3! Past sessions have covered topics including taping techniques, mental health, nutrition, injury prevention, and more. The series connects danceworkers with valuable health and wellness resources to support their work as a performer, choreographer, or dance educator.

Submissions are encouraged from those working at the intersection of dance and medicine. Proposed sessions should be 75 minutes, and selected presenters will receive a $150 stipend.
