Congratulations to our Vice President of Preconstruction and Estimating, Chris Dodson, for completing the "Redefining Leadership" course by The Atkins Impact Consulting Firm through the American Subcontractors Association-Houston Chapter! Over the last 6 months, this course has helped connect leaders within our industry in an environment designed to improve leadership tactics, build innate strengths, and prevent burnout, among many other helpful lessons. Well done to everyone who received their leadership certification today! You are all taking the right steps to become even better leaders every day.

Yesterday, an incident occurred on one of our projects.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted, including their families, coworkers, and all those affected during this difficult time.

Out of respect for those involved and the ongoing investigation, we will not be commenting on the specific circumstances surrounding the incident. We ask for your understanding as the appropriate authorities complete their work.

Flex-Erect is fully cooperating with the appropriate investigating agencies and remains committed to supporting the ongoing review while reinforcing our commitment to workplace safety.

We sincerely appreciate the support, understanding, and professionalism shown by our employees, clients, industry partners, and the construction community during this difficult time.

Back in April, Flex-Erect was the recipient of the Project of the Year award from the Steel Erectors Association of America Steel Erectors Association of America for our work on the Spring Fire Training Facility. It was an honor to talk with our peers in the industry about the details of this job and to receive recognition for this important work. Thank you to SEAA for recognizing Flex-Erect. See you all in 2027 at the next trade show and convention!

We are recertified! Thanks to everyone on the Flex-Erect team for keeping our standard of work at the highest level.

Excellent progress is being made at the City of Austin Northeast Service Center! Flex-Erect is proud to be part of a project that will provide support to city operations by enhancing Austin Resource Recovery’s ability to provide services and by relieving overcrowding at Austin Fleet Mobility Services repair facilities. It will also include new community amenities and help the city push toward its “zero waste” goal.

As per the City of Austin’s website, this Service Center will provide:
- Operations and administrative buildings to support ARR vehicles and City fleet units.
- A community room available for neighborhood associations, civic groups, and non-profits.
- Landscaped plazas and flexible-use outdoor gathering area.
- Public art installations through Art in Public Places.
- Improved traffic flow and pedestrian safety, including turn lanes and a beacon crosswalk.
