📣Race Announcement!! 📣

We’re excited to bring the 55 to the Tri- Five Nationals presented by CPP in Bowling Green, KY August 13-15th!

This is a race dad and I have talked about and wanted to attend for years, but the timing has never worked out - until this year!

And even better than just coming to the event, LUTZ RACE CARS and I will be match racing through out the weekend in the Golden Star Shoot Out.💪 Him in the 57 and me in the 55 - I’m biased but I think the pair looks pretty darn good together. But we’ve never raced each other in these cars before - until now! 😈

Join us for a weekend of Tri-Fives, great racing, tons of fun - all at one of the coolest venues (Beechbend Raceway Park).

See ya there!

Quick trip to California this weekend for Wiley and Ashlyn’s wedding! It was a really pretty wedding at and we got to catch up with friends there, too. Congratulations and ♥️

We spent the day at Newport Beach when we got there Friday, went last minute shopping for Nick most of Saturday because I led him astray on dress code initially (hence the reason you see a picture of him forcing my suitcase closed because of his extra stuff), and Sunday we brunched and beached in Laguna Beach with Rick, Nick, and Sarah!

A good way to cap off our month of travel in May 🌊🏝️

May was a month of racing - and good results! We spent 3 weeks on the road going from Ohio, to Chicago, to North Carolina. And I just am a little behind on sharing that. Go figure 🤪

The inaugural Turn and Burn kicked off the month! And dad and I won our class - Unlimited Iron 🏆 Who doesn’t love a trophy that doubles as an ice cream holder?! We also were overall “winner” with lowest ET which for us is a big deal. Theres wasn’t an award which is fine - but we did battle it out with some fast cars and that was a big deal to us to know where we placed! The 55 performed so good and cracked off multiple 6.50 and low 6.60 passes. I love that car!

If you remember the weeks leading up to this, everyone was busy getting Uncle Sam wrapped up all the way to the very last second before leaving. So this was the first race for it. We were going to have multiple days of testing, but weather got us. So Nick made 1 half pass (accidental we learned 😂) before going straight to day 1 of competition where he just went for a full pass with a brand new combo… and ran a 6.78 🤯 Windows and driveshaft suffered some damage but we had that fixed and were back in the road not too late 😂 I can say though, once I realized he made a full pass I immediately thought, “dang… I hope that fuel and spark map is right…” because I built the tune right before we left and he didn’t make passes to check anything out. But it was all super safe. So I have to say thanks , your guys classes work and give so much confidence for situations like this! Plus, all the and components worked perfect 👌🏻 He placed 3rd in his class and placed 1st in DYO! Winning!

Thank you to Mickey Thompson and Summit Motorsports Park for putting so much time and effort into making this an event for everyone to enjoy with real racing and side quests everywhere you turned!

Happy Mother’s Day to Lil Deb ! 💐 Not only our mom - but a mom to anyone at the track or that comes across her path in general. She spent her Mother’s Day Sunday driving from one race destination to the next race destination today. Pretty cool 😎 We love you!

They harmonize so well together now 😎 A little cackle fest warm up for the 55 and Uncle Sam after pulling them out of the trailer this morning! Turn and Burn today 5/7 through Saturday 5/9! The weather has cleared up and the sun is out. Come out ti for a good time!

Sights from the last 3 weeks (?) to the start of Turn and Burn Day 1. It was all kind of a blur! Dad had the 55 ready to go early- which was good because Uncle Sam wasn’t ready 💁🏽‍♀️ Nick and Moo spent the last few months overhauling his chassis and refining Sam with his new BIG BBC. I spent the last 2-3 weeks on and off wiring in all the new and components. And dad helped get some of the big stuff like belly pans and windshield checked off the list last minute as everyone was rushing to get ready to leave. Maddie, Mom, and Meg kept even fed and things organized as best they could. Regardless - both cars made it and are ready to go! 3 weeks of back to back racing. Turn and Burn kicking it off, NHRA Chicago for Street Car Shoot Out, then Uncle Sam is racing at King of the South. Hopefully we see you at one or another!

Route 66 Road trip continued. I got distracted on sharing this apparently and skipped a lot. Oops.

The start of the actual Route 66 portion on Day 4. We got off on 66 in Kingman, AZ and stopped at the Route 66 museum before heading onto Hackberry, AZ, then a stop at the Grand Canyon Caverns, and then continued on Route 66 to Seligman, AZ before we stopped for the night in Williams! This is some of the best Route 66 cruising we did! Not a lot of miles covered but a lot of stops made.

Thanks to and for partnering on this adventure and allowing us to bring the ultimate road trip to you guys via YouTube! Remember - this was also to kick off getting ready for the NHRA Route 66 Nationals presented by Peak where we will be competing in the Peak Street Car Shoot Out May 14-17. Hope to see you guys there!

Big Block Beats is one of my favorite music genres. 🎶

I think Rocket may be the only one who’s not sure about them yet (video at end) 😂

Dad has been working hard on the 55 getting it ready for our multiple races coming up soon - and I think it’there! Now just to load. Anddd get Nick’s car finished. 😂
