Great team catch up for the DFW team team.

Celebrating Women Who Lead! 💙

Our CEO, Timeka Walker, enjoyed a wonderful morning at Amegy Bank’s Women Who Lead Breakfast, featuring Hannah McNair of the Houston Texans Foundation.

Thank you, Hannah, for sharing your leadership and perspective, and thank you to Amegy Bank for creating spaces that celebrate women, strengthen connections, and invest in people and our community.

We loved being part of the morning! ✨

Some stories are difficult to tell, but they need to be told.

We’re incredibly proud of the Hands of Justice team for bringing this new book to life.

One chapter, The Boy Who Tried to Fly, shares our founder David Reid’s deeply personal journey, from childhood struggles and exposure to grooming, to discovering hope, healing, and a lifelong commitment to confronting human trafficking. It’s an honest story about resilience, compassion, and the belief that our greatest wounds can become a source of hope for others.

This book is more than an introduction to human trafficking. It’s an invitation to understand the people behind the headlines and why awareness must always lead to action.

If you’d like to read the full story, the book is available now on Amazon. We hope it will inform, challenge, and inspire you.
