Last week, we broke ground on the new parking garage and joined the County for an open house to share what’s ahead for the New Ector Courthouse. From the ceremonial first shovel to conversations with community members, it was a reminder of the impact this project will have on downtown Odessa.

This project is part of a long-term investment in Ector County, bringing together a new courthouse, civic park, future library, and a 743-space parking garage designed to better serve residents, visitors, and staff.

Thank you to Ector County for the trust, and to our partners DLR Group, Landgraf Crutcher & Associates, KDC Associates, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. and Beyond Engineering for their collaboration on this effort.

At Aristoi Classical Academy, a K–12 charter school, progress continues across multiple scopes. Crews are moving through insulation, plumbing, and interior work while staying closely coordinated to keep sequencing tight and the schedule on track 🏗️

With added effort on site, the team is keeping momentum strong as the project continues to take shape.

Celebrating the ribbon cutting at Anne Frank Inspire Academy - Bandera Rd and the opening of a new addition built to support the way their students learn. ✂️🎉

This new space brings together classrooms, labs, and collaborative areas designed for hands-on, inquiry-based learning, something AFIA is known for across San Antonio. From flexible learning environments to shared spaces that encourage problem-solving and teamwork, every part of this project was built with that approach in mind.

Meet the newest faces of Butler-Cohen 👏

Our interns are gaining hands-on exposure across the business, from preconstruction and field operations to project management and support teams.

Excited to have them on board and looking forward to what they’ll accomplish this summer.

Our 2026 retreat at Horseshoe Bay was a great reminder of what makes Butler-Cohen special: a team that works hard, shows up for each other, knows how to have fun, and makes time to recognize the people behind the work!! 🛠️

With Houston, Central Texas, and West Texas all together, it gave everyone a chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend real time together. A mix of outdoor activities, time to relax, and a company program with some employee awards 🏆 brought everyone together before the night turned into poker ♠️ and a cigar social.

We wrapped it up with a Build a Bike giveback 🚲 benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Highland Lakes, a solid way to close out a really good trip.

Grateful for this group and everything they bring to Butler-Cohen. 🤝
