Before there was a new courthouse complex, there was a building that became part of Ector County’s story.
For generations, the Ector County Courthouse has been more than a landmark in downtown Odessa. It has been a place where courtrooms have heard cases, county offices have served residents, records have been kept, and decisions affecting the community have been made.
Over the years, Ector County has grown and changed around it. The courthouse has remained a familiar part of that landscape, serving the county through generations of residents and leaders.
Now, that story is entering a new chapter.
Construction on the new Ector County Courthouse Complex is underway, bringing together a new courthouse, parking garage, civic spaces and other improvements designed to serve the community for generations to come.
The new complex represents where Ector County is headed, while the old courthouse reminds us of how far we’ve come.

The new parking garage is planned to provide 743 parking spaces!
As the first major structure to take shape on the project site, the garage will play an important role in supporting the new Ector County Courthouse Complex and the people who visit and work there.
Right now, we're at the foundation stage. Before long, those 743 spaces will begin taking shape above it.

A weekend well spent in Galveston with Dunaway 🏖️🏰
Our team traded our usual jobsite for the sand and enjoyed a day of creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition at the Galveston Sandcastle Competition.
Same team, different jobsite. 👏

A major milestone is taking shape at the Ector County Courthouse Parking Garage. 🚧
This aerial view captures the recent concrete pour, a significant step forward that reflects the planning, coordination, and teamwork driving this project from the ground up.
The new parking garage will support the growing needs of the Ector County Courthouse campus, providing critical infrastructure for the community it serves.

🤩 It's never too late to celebrate a milestone.
While students have already settled into their new space, we were proud to join Houston Classical Charter School for the official ribbon cutting of its new Middle School facility.
The new 29,000-square-foot, two-story building features modern classrooms, a competition gymnasium, boys' and girls' locker rooms, and site improvements designed to enhance campus access, circulation, and parking.
Thank you to our partners at PBK and everyone who helped bring this project to life. We're honored to have delivered a space that will serve students, staff, and the school community for years to come.
Now this is the kind of progress we love to see. 👏
Fresh concrete placements, rising masonry walls, and ongoing steel installation are bringing this project to life and creating momentum across Carrizo Springs CISD.
