Meet Adam Keith, Patterson-UTI Drilling’s MPD Product Champion, who has been part of our team for more than six years.

After earning his Petroleum Engineering degree from Texas A&M, Adam brought his passion for innovation to our industry. One of Adam's proudest accomplishments was receiving the 2024 IADC Exemplary Service Award, recognizing his contributions to initiatives that improved safety, performance, and operational practices for our customers.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.

Congratulations to Rig 294 and the EQT Corporation who helped achieve the longest onshore lateral drilled in the United States at 29,070 feet, reaching a measured depth of 37,610 feet.

The team also set a new Appalachian Basin performance milestone for most footage drilled in 24 hours, and a new EQT record for most footage drilled in 48 hours.

From the Rig 294 crew and EQT to our teams at Superior QC, who also supported the effort, every milestone reflects the skill, dedication, and teamwork that drive success in the Appalachian Basin.

Congratulations to Nathaniel Vidal (pictured right) from our NexTier Completion Solutions team for earning Top of Class in the Blender, Engines, Pumps & Transmissions course.

Nathaniel achieved the highest score in his course with a 95% or higher, reflecting his dedication to professional development and commitment to continually building his skills. This also marks the second course in which Nathaniel has earned Top of Class, an outstanding accomplishment that speaks to his consistent hard work and focus on excellence.

Keep Midland Beautiful is a local nonprofit dedicated to educating and inspiring the community to take action toward a cleaner, more vibrant, and waste-free Midland. With 30 volunteers giving their time and effort, the team collected 55 bags of trash and helped make a positive impact across the community.

We recently spent the day at our Current Power facility capturing the work of our Field Service Engineering team in action. Current Power’s Alex Tran, Noah Anderson, and Olivia Zindel walked us through a day in their roles as they perform equipment testing and inspections prior to delivery.

From quality control checks to extensive factory acceptance testing, their work plays a critical role in ensuring every Current Power system meets performance and reliability standards.
