Clinical Observations in the Texas Medical Center at Memorial Hermann Health System, which now has an ACC Accredited EP LAB, start in our first month. In one day, four of our students saw 4 ablation procedures (2 PVI, CTI & 2 VT), a left atrial appendage closure, a PFO closure, a dual chamber pacemaker and a leadless pacemaker. They watch in the procedure room while learning from UTHealth physicians, industry professionals and AHP's.

We completed the first two weeks of fundamentals which included a heart dissection and a lecture on radiation safety by Dr. Rose. We're very fortunate to have UTHealth professors and physicians contributing to the education of our students.

Imaging technologies are becoming more critical to successful EP and SH procedures. Our students benefitted greatly!
