Helms PTA

In honor of National Custodians Day, the Helms Hospitality team provided lunch to our rockstar custodians: Ms Amira Mondragon, Ms Karla Gonzalez y Ms Yanet Espinosa! Thank you for all you do to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students each day. Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but the difference you make is seen and appreciated by our entire school community! 💛

Since 2022, Stephanie Baker • Ready to Grow Gardens engages Helms students in hands-on science lessons in the garden each month led by a garden teacher. Students plant seeds 🌱, learn about pollinators 🐝 , harvest and taste their crops over the course of the year 🧑‍🌾🪏🫜. & this year, Prek students get garden days too! One of the many wonderful PTA programs your fundraising dollars makes possible for our school!

Check those backpacks this afternoon! Our awesome volunteers were hard at work this morning sorting your Hispanic Heritage Festival shirts and what a beautiful design it is in person 😍 Don’t forget to have your Helms kiddo wear theirs this Friday to kick off our festival day. See you there!!
