How the football keychain is going. Loving it! Using Very Velvet on the football. Radiance for the school logo. Almost done stitching it. Then I’ll add a binding stitch around the edges.
New needlepoint keychain idea in the works 👀🧵
I’ve been playing around with a new keychain template that is stitched as one continuous canvas, then folded in half at the center to create a two-sided round / flag keychain!
I’m testing out different layouts, sizes, and ways to make the fold work while keeping both sides looking clean. This football version is one of my first experiments. 🏈
The fun part is that each side can be completely different — a design on one side and initials, a monogram, school colors, team design, etc. on the other.
Would you stitch one of these?
And what would you want on yours — school spirit, monogram, sports, holiday, or something else?
Still tweaking the template, but I think this could be a really fun little stitch! ✨.
