Another dumped dog ☹️

This guy was dumped in another of our volunteer’s neighbourhoods. He spent a couple of nights on the streets while they tried to get him to warm up to them so they could take him in.

They’ve been looking after him for a few days now and he’s starting to come out of his shell and trust them.

He’s around 1 year old, an underweight 50lb and available for adoption!

Lenny has been at a couple of temp fosters houses over the last couple of days and has been instantly accepted by all the dogs whose house’s he’s been at. That tells us he’s a very good boy, cos we trust dog’s opinions!

When is somebody going to adopt this beautiful big headed boy??

Two more cats looking for homes. These two are 11 weeks old and fully vetted.

Found under a house with Mom and two other babies. Mom and two babies have found homes, now these two need one.

Our friends at Furry Friends Animal Aid need our help spreading the word about Ravioli! 🧡

Ravioli is an adorable 10-week-old orange tabby with LOTS of kitten energy. This little guy loves to play, loves attention, and is always looking for something to do. He needs a home that has plenty of time to keep up with him and would do best with a feline friend who is just as playful and energetic.

Ravioli is currently with Furry Friends Animal Aid and will be neutered as soon as he reaches 3 lbs.

Right now, Ravioli needs either a foster home or a forever home. If you can open your home to this sweet, energetic little guy, please reach out to Furry Friends Animal Aid. And if you can’t foster or adopt, a share can help Ravioli find someone who can 🧡

Another new doggy!!

This is Hollie. She is a 26lb, 6 month old, little black dog 😁

For a homeless dog she sure does like the luxury life. Her foster says she loves nothing more than manicures and pedicures whilst listening to her favorite music.

Good with dogs and kids, probably good with cats.

The puppy that we picked up after he was dumped by his owners is safe and doing well with his foster.

He goes by Bluey, and he’s got a beautiful big foster sibling to show him the ropes.

He’s a lovely little puppy. We are so grateful we were lucky enough to be able to pick him as soon as he was dumped. Who knows what his fate would have been if we hadn’t.

We have two new dogs to introduce to you!

On the left is BOBBY, and on the right is MOOSE

Bobby is a 1 year old husky mix. His foster describes him as goofy, clumsy and a bit floppy. He’s a friendly, curious and playful boy, and likes to be close to his person

Goose is a 15 week old plot hound mix. His foster says he’s already potty trained, very calm for a puppy and loves to cuddle.

Time to tell you about some of our recent(ish) adoptions!

Sometimes we get so caught up trying to find fosters and forever homes for the dogs who still need us that we forget to share the best part…the happy endings!

Dog rescue can feel like a lot of sadness and heartbreak sometimes, which makes it even more important to stop and celebrate the wins. Plus, we know you see these pups on our page, follow their stories and probably wonder, “Whatever happened to that dog?!”

One of our volunteers was walking their dogs last night when they saw a car pull over, kick this puppy out and drive away. There is never any excuse for doing this, especially to a little puppy who has no idea how to survive on the streets.

He’s safe now, but he has nowhere to go. We need a foster!!!
