🎃💜 HEY Y’ALL, WE’RE BACK!
I told y’all we were coming back with another form of Krew Love! 🫶🏽
On October 30th, Kommunity Krew will be hosting our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, and we have some BIG goals this year:
🎒 100 Mini Hygiene Bags for the kids
🚗 20+ Decorated Trunks ready to pass out candy & have some fun!
Our hygiene bags are designed to be small enough for kids to keep right in their backpacks for those everyday “let me freshen up real quick” moments at school. 😂🪥✨
WE NEED 100 OF EACH ITEM:
🪥 Travel-size toothpaste + toothbrushes
💦 Travel-size mouthwash
🧴 Travel-size deodorant
✨ Travel-size body spray/smell goods
💋 Chapstick + lip gloss
🪮 Mini brushes + combs
PLEASE STICK TO TRAVEL SIZE! We want everything to fit comfortably inside their bags.
You can donate one item, 10 items, 100 items, whatever you can contribute helps us get closer to our goal. 💜
And if donating supplies isn’t your thing, decorate your trunk and join us! We’re looking for at least 20 cars, and yes… 👀🏆 there WILL be a prize for the BEST decorated trunk!
Want to donate, volunteer, decorate a trunk, or need more information? Send us a DM!
Let’s show these kids what Krew Love looks like. 💜🎃
100 BAGS. 20 TRUNKS. ONE KOMMUNITY. LET’S DO IT!
Free Market!
What a journey it’s been. 💛
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of serving FREE cotton candy and snow cones at a back-to-school event in one of the neighborhoods we serve. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the work and enjoy the fun moments with the kids.
And now… today is the FINAL Project Snack Pack of the summer! 🥹
What started as an idea turned into weeks of showing up, building relationships, and making memories. I couldn’t be more excited to finish this season strong.
See y’all one last time for Project Snack Pack! Let’s make it a good one. 💛🍎🌭
💛 Eight weeks. 100 lunches each week. 800 lunches served.
When we started Project Snack Pack this summer, we had one goal: show up consistently for our community. Week after week, that’s exactly what we’ve done.
Because of your support, we’ve now served 800 lunches, and with only two distributions left, we’re on track to reach our goal of 1,000 lunches this summer! 🎉
To everyone who donated, volunteered, packed lunches, passed them out, shared a post, or even came just to support and cheer us on…THANK YOU! Every role mattered, and none of it went unnoticed.
This journey has reminded us that there’s still so much work to do, but real change happens one day, one neighborhood, and one lunch at a time.
We have two more opportunities to finish this summer strong:
📅 Today, July 30
📅 Wednesday, August 5th
If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now’s the time. Come volunteer, ride along, help prepare lunches, or simply experience what Kommunity Krew is all about.
📩 Send us a DM we’d love to have you join the Krew.
Let’s finish these last two weeks the same way we’ve done the first eight: together. 💛
Thanks capturing our moments!
Will you join us next summer?

Hey y’all! Volunteering is actually fun! 💙🍧🍭
We’re looking for 3–5 volunteers to help us pass out snow cones and cotton candy at our Back-to-School Event on August 4th from 3:00–5:00 PM.
The best part? You don’t need to bring anything but yourself and a helping hand! 🙌🏾
This is an indoor volunteer opportunity, so you’ll be inside the entire time. You can volunteer for 30 minutes, an hour, or stay the full two hours…whatever fits your schedule.

There will be other community resources available and a few networking opportunities, but Kommunity Krew is there to bring the energy, the smiles, and the good vibes! 💚
If you’d like to volunteer, send us a DM or text us. We’d love to have you on the Krew! 💚
Want to support Kommunity Krew? Here’s one of the easiest ways. 💚
Come out, have a great time, and play Bingo with Beats! 🎉
Every bingo board you purchase helps fund our mission. The proceeds go directly toward feeding kids, hosting community events, providing school supplies, and creating opportunities for the neighborhoods we serve.
We’re excited to announce that Kommunity Krew is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! This is a huge milestone, but it’s only the beginning. Now it’s time to put the pedal to the metal.
Every donation, every bingo board, every volunteer, and every person who shares our mission helps us make a bigger impact.
So grab your friends, come win some cash, enjoy a night of good vibes, and know that you’re supporting something much bigger than a game.
Together, we’re building a stronger community—one lunch, one child, and one neighborhood at a time. 💚

Last week was such a success! 💛
This week’s menu was hot dogs, chips, string cheese, oranges, juice, and an apple crisp, and the kids absolutely loved it!
This Wednesday, we split our 100 lunches between Sunflower Terrace and Wesley Square Apartments.
We’ll be back next Wednesday with 100 more lunches! We’ll be posting next week’s menu soon, so stay tuned.
If you’ve been thinking about volunteering or lending a hand, we’d love to have you join us. It only takes a little time to make a big difference. See y’all next week! 💙🍎🥪
