EXCLUSIVE: Police Chase Ends in Crash, Arrest on Wallisville Road Near Beltway 8

HOUSTON, Texas — An apparent police pursuit came to an end Wednesday evening after a suspect crashed out near Wallisville Road and the East Sam Houston Parkway (Beltway 8) before being taken into custody by Harris County Precinct 3 Constables, according to information obtained by HTX Media.

Witness photos from the scene show a heavily damaged sedan stopped in the roadway as law enforcement units and a tow truck worked to secure the area. The suspect was taken into custody following the crash.

At this time, authorities have not released information regarding the suspect’s identity, nor have they disclosed what led to the pursuit.

Traffic in the area was impacted as deputies and first responders worked the scene. Harris County Precinct 3 Constables actively worked on location clearing the roadway and moved the incident to a nearby parking lot.

ALDINE ISD TEACHER ACCUSED OF SENDING INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES TO 13-YEAR-OLD STUDENT

A concerned mother has reached out to HTX Media after discovering what she describes as disturbing social media messages allegedly sent by a teacher at Hambrick Middle School in northeast Houston to her 13-year-old child.

According to screenshots provided to HTX Media, the male teacher allegedly sent messages that included statements such as, "Call me daddy and I'll buy you food," "I need someone to teleport to...I'm lonely," and referred to the student as "pussycat."

The mother claims her child told her the teacher would frequently message him through social media at all hours of the night. She further alleges that other male students may have also received similar communications.

According to the parent, she immediately reported the matter to both school administrators and law enforcement. A meeting was reportedly held involving the student, the parent, and school officials. She says school administrators informed her that an investigation had been initiated, but she claims she has received little information since then.

The mother also expressed concerns that parents have not been notified that an investigation involving alleged inappropriate conduct by a teacher is underway.

HTX Media has made multiple attempts to obtain comment from Aldine ISD, including reaching out to Aldine ISD Police, the Superintendent's Office, and Hambrick Middle School. After speaking with two staff members at the school, one employee allegedly ended the call before providing any comment.

At this time, HTX Media is withholding the identity of the teacher while awaiting a response from Aldine ISD and pending the outcome of any official investigation. However, time is of the essence because other children might be falling victim.

🚨⚽ FAKE WORLD CUP GEAR BUSTED IN HOUSTON AREA ⚽🚨

More than $6 MILLION worth of counterfeit FIFA merchandise has been seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in the Houston/Galveston area.

According to CBP, officers confiscated approximately 12,000 counterfeit Adidas soccer jerseys, 4,500 FIFA-branded soccer balls, nearly 4,400 pairs of athletic shoes, and more than 2,200 counterfeit Apple watches and earbuds bearing FIFA logos. Agents also seized toys, perfume, and other merchandise.

Investigators say most of the shipments originated in China and were destined for locations both inside and outside the United States.

Federal officials say the operation targeted merchandise allegedly violating intellectual property rights associated with FIFA and World Cup-related products. Authorities warn counterfeit goods can deceive consumers, hurt legitimate businesses, and in some cases pose health and safety risks.

With the World Cup generating massive global demand, officials are reminding consumers to purchase merchandise from trusted retailers to avoid getting burned by fake products.

💸🏡 FROM REAL ESTATE TO REAL STEAL? WOMAN ACCUSED OF TAKING $460K FROM EMPLOYER

According to ABC13 KTRK, Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable deputies have arrested a woman accused of stealing nearly half a million dollars from her employer and living the high life while doing it.

Court records allege that Heather Surratt used company funds to support a lavish lifestyle that included luxury clothing, jewelry, vacations, and even paying off her American Express bill — because apparently "treat yourself" was taken a little too seriously.

Investigators say the alleged theft occurred between January 2024 and February 2026, with prosecutors stating that more than $460,000 was deposited into Surratt’s personal account.

The victim company, Styled Real Estate, reportedly discovered discrepancies, leading detectives to identify Surratt as the suspect.

Surratt has since bonded out of jail.

Moral of the story: If your paycheck suddenly starts looking like a millionaire's allowance, someone in accounting is eventually going to notice. 👀💳💰

Residents in the area of the 17000 block of Ramsey Rd. in Crosby have reported hearing gunshots coming from a gray SUV over the last several days.

According to reports, an occupant of the vehicle has allegedly discharged a firearm multiple times, including during nighttime hours.

Discharging a firearm in a residential neighborhood is extremely dangerous and puts innocent lives at risk. Authorities are urging the public to help identify the owner or driver of this vehicle before someone is seriously injured.

🚨 CHILD EXPOSURE ARREST IN HOBBY DISTRICT 🚨

A 54-year-old man is behind bars after Harris County deputies say he was caught committing a lewd act in public while a child was nearby in southeast Houston.

According to authorities, on June 16, 2026, deputies assigned to the Hobby District were conducting proactive patrols in the 8200 block of Broadway Street when they noticed a woman and a child repeatedly looking in a particular direction.

Deputies say the woman flagged them down and pointed toward a male suspect. Upon investigation, deputies reportedly observed the man committing a lewd act in public.

The suspect was identified as Charles Buhagiar, 54. Deputies quickly detained him at the scene.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted felony charges of Indecency with a Child by Exposure.

Buhagiar was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail, where he was booked on the felony charge.

🚨 BOYFRIEND CAPTURED AFTER WOMAN FATALLY STRUCK IN SOUTHWEST HOUSTON 🚨

The boyfriend of 24-year-old Galilea Adan has been arrested and charged in connection with her death following a tragic incident that occurred around 1:45 AM on Sunday, June 14, in the 7500 block of Bellerive Drive.

Authorities say Rudolfo Pinon III has been charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid involving a collision resulting in death.

According to court documents, Pinon III, Adan, and two other individuals spent the evening together and attended a nightclub. Investigators say everyone had been drinking, and witnesses reported that Pinon became heavily intoxicated throughout the night.

After the group was reportedly asked to leave the club, an argument began and continued as they drove away from the location.

Court records state the group eventually stopped near Bellerive Drive and exited the vehicle. Witnesses told investigators that Galilea Adan was standing near the front of a Dodge Durango when Pinon III got behind the wheel and accelerated.

The vehicle allegedly struck and ran over Adan.

Houston police responded to the scene and found the victim deceased in a moving lane of traffic. The investigation remains ongoing.

As with all criminal charges, the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
