Thinking about growing Anthuriums? 🌿
Many people think they’re difficult, but the truth is they’re much easier when you focus on the four basics. Once you get these right, your Anthuriums will reward you with healthy roots and beautiful leaves.
🌫️ 1. Humidity
Most Anthuriums thrive with 60–80% humidity. While they can adapt to lower levels, consistent humidity helps prevent crispy edges and encourages larger, healthier foliage.
🪵 2. Chunky Soil
Skip dense potting soil. Anthuriums are epiphytes in nature, meaning their roots love airflow. A chunky mix with orchid bark, perlite, pumice, coco chips, charcoal, and a little sphagnum moss or coco coir allows roots to breathe while still holding enough moisture.
💧 3. Watering
The goal is consistency—not keeping the soil soaking wet or bone dry. Water thoroughly, then let the mix begin to dry before watering again. BUT DONT ALLOWNTO FULLY DRY. To avoid air rot. Healthy roots are the foundation of a thriving Anthurium.
💡 4. Lighting
Bright, indirect light is key. Too little light leads to slow growth, while too much direct sun can scorch those gorgeous leaves. Think of the bright light they’d receive beneath a rainforest canopy.
Remember, plants don’t need perfection—they need consistency. 🌱 Learn your plant’s environment, make small adjustments, and let it tell you what it needs.

Stay MAD at a broken game then! 🤣
