This Juneteenth, Glory Meals & Cakes was blessed to give back to our 5th Ward community. From preparation and assembly to packaging and delivery, our incredible volunteers dedicated countless hours to ensure every meal and every package was prepared with LOVE.

Our Glory Families and Glory Men received hot meals, personal care items, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, and other essentials—a bundle of joy wrapped with compassion and hope for every household.

Every meal served. Every package delivered. Every smile shared.

More than meeting a need, each delivery was a reminder of the freedom we celebrate and the calling we all have to serve one another with love, dignity, and excellence.

Congratulations to Pastor Catherine Smith on being named one of the FIRST Inaugural Hall of Fame inductees at Austin High School in Houston ISD.

As a distinguished faculty member for nearly 20 years, Pastor Smith has received a plethora of educational and non educational awards in such as Regional Teacher of the Year, Waste Management Teacher of the Year, Rotary Club Teacher of the Year, Top 40 Business & Non Profit Women’s Award in Houston, Radio One/TV One Hometown Hero in tandem with the NAACP Image Award Celebration, Southern Educational Board Conference Speaker, Houston Sun Pillar In The Community, Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award under the Biden Administration, special local government awards, and the list goes on.

She has made a lasting impact through her dedication to students, families, and the community. Her commitment to serving, leading, and showing up for others continues to inspire generations.

What an incredible honor to be recognized by Austin High School and to have Houston City Council Member Joaquin Martinez present and honor each Hall of Fame inductee.

A well-deserved celebration of excellence, impact, and a legacy that will continue for years to come.

🚨Power4Life Ministries couldn’t end the month of May without giving the LORD the praise for all the GOOD THINGS!! There were challenges, I.e. No building access, but when there is a need we do not make excuses — we make impact‼️MOTHER’S DAY in the Community ❤️

🙏🏾The Lord gave us a plan. We pulled up in a moving truck ready to serve the people. The lines formed not just for meals, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and personal care items — but for prayer, encouragement, love, and HOPE in Christ.

✝️At Power4Life, we believe ministry is about showing up, pushing through, and serving people with compassion and purpose. We came to remind families they are seen, valued, loved, and never forgotten.
