THREE LEADERS, ONE LABOR OF LOVE

Meet the grassroots leaders who just stepped into Clarify, the first phase of the LINC Mission Accelerator Program, helping leaders clarify their God-given dream to be the hands and feet of Christ.

• One shows up for veterans and elderly neighbors, making sure they know: "you are not forgotten."
• One walks alongside families quietly carrying the weight of a loved one's mental health challenges and homelessness.
• One is building a way for families to take charge of their finances — turning a hard conversation into something they can actually have fun doing while learning together.

Three weeks in, they've been cheering each other on, trading resources, building real relationships. That's what it looks like when Gospel-motivated leaders sit at the same table for the love of Christ.

Happy Labor Day! Today we honor the leaders in every community diligently laboring in Jesus' name. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." Grateful for every one of them. 🧡

STEADFAST IN COPPERFIELD

In July Pastor Abel Araya, LINC Houston City Director, visited Family of Faith Lutheran Church — led by Interim Pastor Tom Van Duzer — to share updates on the Mission Accelerator and encourage the congregation to keep seeking their One Person: the specific neighbor waiting to experience the Gospel from someone they already know. Grateful for churches like Family of Faith, remaining steadfast in Copperfield/West Houston.

Our LINC Equip event led us through a peaceful journey on listening through the lens of "relationship" so that we can hear others in the Spirit and beyond what words can say.

Most people spend years trying to figure out where they belong. LINC leaders already know — because their mission field is the neighborhood they call home. What you know, who you know, and where you've been isn't a limitation. It's your preparation.
