Great Scott ⚡️ what a night!
We had the best time at *Back to the Future: The Musical* at TUTS Houston. Y’all know we love a theater date night and this one was so fun! The show had us laughing the whole time, and the effects were seriously next level… some of the coolest I’ve ever seen on stage. 🚗💨🚦8️⃣8️⃣
If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend in Houston, this is it!

✨🤠Long Weekend🤠✨
Well, we decided to go to the new spot in The Heights….and so did everyone else. Lol
Here are some main points:
-We made a reservation on and it was a life saver. There’s a catch, though. We had to pay $10/person for our reservation so our party of 14 made for a hefty reservation fee. It was later deducted off our bill so no harm, no foul.
-We sat outside and it was noisy, but manageable. Lots of TVs and quick bar service. Kinda with the management team would not let people “hover” at tables. One small picnic table had 12 adults, but only seating for about 6 of them. It made the area feel more cramped.
-Staff was great, we loved our waiter!
-They had decent specials that included $5 drafts. Cocktails looked yummy.
-The food was good! Highlights were the mini tacos and CFS. The pizza was also good!
-The play area was WILD. Lots of kids and very few parents supervising. Worst behaved person we saw was a mom who climbned up into the tree area with a wine glass and broke it.
Overall, would return for sure, but only once the excitement of their grand opening wears off and it is less crowded. Everyone in our crew had fun 🙂

An evening with 💕
01/01/2026
This is my favorite photo of myself from 2025. I had my summer tan and was feeling good after 4 weeks off work for my short summer break. Also, I was about 8 weeks pregnant and on top of the world. See, my husband and I had survived 2 miscarriages the year prior and my bloodwork for this pregnancy came back perfect. What I didn’t know then was that my third loss was just days away.
Time has become my best friend and my greatest enemy.
It is my friend because every day I feel stronger. In 2025, I had my third miscarriage, ending my hopes of having another baby. Every day I feel less grief than the day before, and more acceptance of this finality we have experienced.
Time is my greatest enemy because every day is a reminder that my sweet girl is never going to be this small again. She’s growing and changing and I hate that I did not know she was my only baby, because I feel like I took it all for granted.
This year has taught me this: this moment is all we’ve got. I look to 2026 with gratitude, hope, and motivation to be present in each and every moment.
I hope 2026 brings you all the joy you need and the love you deserve.
If you are struggling with loss, grief, or feel like you are the only one: know that I am always here to talk.
