Needville 9U battles back to win sectional championship!

NEEDVILLE 9U DEFEATS PEARLAND FOR CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER

Disgraced Fort Bend County Judge KP George was sentenced Tuesday to 6 months in jail and ordered to serve 5 years probation.
458th District Court Judge Maggie Jaramillo also fined George $5,000 and court costs, and ordered him to serve 200 hours of community service, attend anti-theft course and stay off social media while on probation. Jaramillo also forbade George from finding employment that included monetary transactions.She also ordered him removed from office.
Bond was denied and he was remanded into custody Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m.; however, his attorney immediately filed an appeal, which means George will be released pending the outcome of the appeal. If he loses his appeal, he will begin serving his sentence.
George was convicted in March on two felony counts of money laundering.
