Join the Siphon Coffee team on Tuesdays and Sundays from 6 AM–2 PM, helping us make muffins, chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, kolaches, empanadas, quiches, and more.

Some of the sweetest rituals at Siphon happen quietly, like having your morning coffee with your best friend resting faithfully at your feet.

I spend most of my time with my own dog, so this scene really speaks to me. A great dog is such a precious companion. They’re always happy to see you, always ready for the next outing, and don’t really care where you’re going as long as they get to go with you.

This Andrew Andrew Cochran and Andalusia share this little ritual with us nearly every morning, and there’s something very special about it. A familiar table, a cup of coffee, and the simple happiness of being together.

Tropical Storm Edouard may be moving through Houston, but it’s still peaceful here at Siphon. We’re open-come settle in, enjoy a warm cup, and please stay safe out there.

Meet Ron, one of Siphon’s favorite regulars. Ron looks out for unhoused people in our neighborhood, especially those with pets. He spent 35 years at sea and has countless fascinating stories.

Meet Alexander, one of the friendly faces behind the bar most afternoons.

A fellow yogi I first met at True North Yoga, Alexander brings that same focus and intention to every drink he makes. He’s constantly dialing in the espresso and putting our new grinder, auto-tamper and newly revived La Marzocco to very good use.

He’s also musically inclined, and from time to time you can catch him performing right here at Siphon.

And yes, he’s sporting our green Siphon hat exceptionally well. This hat and another style are available for sale at the shop.
