I want to thank everyone who came out to support The 713th Cancer Cavalry's Happy Hour Fundraiser.

Our happy hour was held to support our 2026 Visionary Of The Year Campaign for Blood Cancer United.

Our happy hour was also meant to show our appreciation for the support that we have been given this year.

Every dollar donated can give a person fighting. Leukemia or Lymphoma a better chance of successfulky fighting this disease.

The money raised by our team and other Visionaries will be used to fund blood cancer research , provide patient care services, and provide educational resources for combatting blood cancers.

J And B Financial was privileged to have the opportunity to be a supporter of this year's Ice Cold Spring Fest, organized by the gentlemen of the Alpha Eta Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha.

Now in its 17th year, this event raises funds for various organizational community focused initiatives. Examples includes funds for scholarships, community service projects, and youth mentoring programs.

The Ice Cold Spring Fest also provides valuable opportunities for fellowship and networking in a relaxed yet professional setting.

I had the opportunity to spend Saturday morning with my fellow Urban Leaguers and members of other community concerned organizations @ The 2026 Kingsmen Project on the campus of Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, Texas.

The Kingsmen Project is a Houston-based movement and suited flash mob designed to showcase positive imagery, excellence, and unity among Black men and youth. Held at locations like Booker T. Washington High School, it brings together men of all ages dressed in formal attire to shift narratives and highlight
community leadership.

The University Of Houston for the win over LSU @ The 2025 Kinder Texas Bowl!

This game was like the Christmas gift that you had to wait on Amazon to deliver after Christmas.

You knew the gift was on the truck. But, you had to wait on the delivery date....

Great game!
Great time!
Great people!

Shout out to the Code Red Tailgaters for the epic tailgate experience!

Shout to my boy Nick for the suite/sweet accomodations!

Until the next men's football season...

Go Coogs!

Jamie's Hope is a Houston based non profit that has a mission to assist cancer patients and support cancer treatment research by fund raising and volunteering.

They accomplish their mission through events such as their annual celebrity golf tournament and assorted mixers throughout the year.

I spent a November Saturday morning volunteering with the University Of Houston Black Alumni Network @,The We Are One Food Drive in Southeast Houston.

We Are One hosts a weekly food pantry powered by The Houston Food Bank @ The Shrine Of The Black Madonna.

The food distributed on these days helps hundreds of Houstonians feed their families.

I had the privilege of attending the 6th Annual Aggie Impact Weekend earlier this month.

Aggie Impact Weekend consists of multiple events hosted by Aggie Impact Steering Committee and Black Former Student Network to raise money for scholarships to assist current African American students at A&M.

The weekend was part small business expo, another part alumni mixer, a comedy show, a breakfast of champions, The Aggie Impact Gala, and a Goapel Brunch that features a nationally renowned Gospel artist every year. This year's artist was James Fortune.
