Worldwide Power Distribution

There is a lot that goes into giving a unit new life. Refurbishing allows us to extend the life of dependable equipment, reduce waste, and keep more options ready for our customers. Our team works through each unit from the inside out, inspecting the details and making sure it is ready for whatever job comes next.

Taco Truck Tuesday at WPD! Some of the WPD office team took a quick break to enjoy lunch together. It is always nice to step away from our desks, catch up, and spend a little time together outside of the usual workday.

More 4000A standalone units are in the works at WPD. Our team is building, preparing, and getting equipment ready to support our customers.

Behind every unit is a team focused on quality, reliability, and getting customers the power distribution equipment they need, when they need it.

Happy Labor Day! Today we honor the hard work and dedication of workers everywhere—the people who keep things moving, day in and day out.

From all of us at WPD, we hope you have a great day.

Big congratulations are in order at WPD. Please join us in congratulating Pablo Garcia on his promotion to Shop Lead Technician!

Pablo has consistently shown sharp skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to help wherever needed—qualities that make a real difference on the shop floor. This role is well earned, and we're excited to see him step into it.

Sometimes you just need to get out, have a little fun, and support a good cause.

Lee and John spent the day at a local charity golf tournament with their wives, representing WPD and enjoying some time on the course. And yes, the shirts only worked when all four of them stood together—which made for a pretty good photo.

Always happy to support the people and organizations doing good things in our community.

It never stops at WPD! We’re working on a 38kV Station Class 600A breaker in the shop. This unit is being prepped for a job with a great customer, alongside a second unit. There’s a lot that goes into getting equipment like this ready before it leaves the yard—from the hands-on work in the shop to the final details.

This is one of three 1600A standalone breakers that our team recently built for a job in Florida.

From the shop floor to final prep, there’s a lot that goes into getting a unit like this ready to roll. Our team built it out and checked every detail before it headed south because we’re focused on providing dependable equipment when and where it is needed.
