I looked into what moms are actually Googling right now, and it wasn’t mostly naps or feeding schedules. It was identity, exhaustion, and relationships quietly shifting underneath everything else.
Whatever you Googled at 2am, you weren’t the only one asking it. You’re not alone in this, and support is available.

Those are only things money CAN buy.
For things money can’t buy:
1. The euphoria of dancing at the club
2. The excitement before meeting up with a group of friends
3. Laughing so hard until your stomach hurts
4. Peaceful morning with my coffee on a patio
5. Seeking out small gratitudes during my long walks
Imagine this is you: you made a decision, a real one, and didn’t send it to the group chat first. Didn’t ask your mom. Didn’t run it by your husband “just to see” what he thought. You just… decided.
Here’s why moments like this matter so much: for a lot of the women I work with, asking everyone else what they think is actually a form of overthinking. And it’s the thing that’s felt safest for years. So when someone quietly decides something on her own and doesn’t spiral about it afterward, that’s not small. That’s a completely different relationship with herself than the one she walked in with.
You don’t need a huge, dramatic turning point to know therapy is working. Sometimes it’s just one decision you didn’t outsource.

Walked in thinking I just needed better time management. Walked out realizing I’ve spent years memorizing everyone else’s needs and never once considered my own.
That’s usually how it goes. You come in exhausted. You leave with the first real question: who’s been checking on you? When did k really start believing needing something made me a bad mom, woman, colleague?

New trend alert 🚨 “reasons to follow or unfollow me”
I’m a therapist who cares less about you becoming a better version of yourself and more about you trusting the one you already are, and also someone whose imagination will build a full worst-case scenario out of one unanswered text if I don’t give it somewhere better to go. Both are true. Here’s your fair warning before you hit follow.
Progress isn’t linear, and neither is trusting yourself again.
If you caught yourself mid-decision realizing you’d already asked the group chat for backup, you’re not “just an overthinker.” You are, however, just out of practice with trusting yourself.
Self-trust isn’t built in one big moment where you suddenly stop needing anyone’s opinion. It’s built the same way trust with another person is: drop by drop, decision by decision, one small moment where you back yourself instead of outsourcing it.
You don’t have to get it perfect. You just have to notice when you’re reaching for reassurance and gently ask yourself what you’d decide if no one else weighed in.
“I’m not going to ask five people what they think” is a sentence a lot of use truly mean right before texting our bestie.
When exactly did the doubt start creeping in? The double checking? The overthinking?
Self-trust is one of the biggest things we work on inside Unshakeable, an 8-week experience for women who are exhausted from measuring their worth through achievement and asking everyone but themselves for the final answer.
It’s not about becoming more confident. It’s about trusting your own decisions again.
