AI adoption is accelerating, but governance often struggles to keep pace.
In his recent interview with TechTarget, Alliant's Arun Sahu explores why SMBs face a unique challenge: embracing AI's productivity potential while managing the risks of overreliance, limited oversight, and what he calls "AI psychosis."
As organizations race to implement AI, the real differentiator may not be adoption itself, but the ability to govern it responsibly.

On this day, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who answered the call in our nation's time of need.
Their legacy of service, resilience, and unity continues to inspire us. Today, we pause to reflect, remember, and reaffirm our commitment to the values that bring us together.
Physical AI promises new capabilities, but capability alone doesn't create business value.
Manufacturers don't need AI that works perfectly in a demonstration. They need AI that can function reliably in the environments they already have. The organizations that focus on system design instead of chasing the next model release will be in the strongest position to capture value.
In his latest article for SME Media (AdvancedManufacturing.org), Chuck Wilson explores why the future of Physical AI will depend less on model intelligence and more on the systems integration that makes AI safe, reliable, and deployable in real-world industrial environments.
It's a timely read for manufacturers looking to move beyond AI experimentation and achieve measurable operational impact. Read the article here: https://alliantglobal.com/insights/for-physical-ai-the-system-has-become-the-strategy/

Over the past year, companies gorged on AI. Google now processes more than 3.2 quadrillion tokens a month, roughly seven times what it handled a year ago. Uber spent its entire 2026 AI budget by April.
Put simply, AI consumption is out of control.
The instinct now is a crash diet: caps, limits, dashboards. But the real fix is deeper – and simpler.
In his new Fast Company article, Arun Sahu, our head of AI, data and applied intelligence, makes the case that the answer to runaway AI spend isn't using less of it. The move is to make the cost of each prompt visible at the point of input, the way a nutrition label puts calories in front of a shopper before they buy.
