Welcome to the team, Kelly! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce that Kelly Raney has joined NextOp as our newest Employment Coordinator! As a U.S. Navy veteran, Kelly brings firsthand experience, deep empathy, and a true passion for guiding service members as they transition from military life into meaningful civilian careers.
Her career spans key roles in higher education, workforce development, and veteran support, including serving as a Military Education Coordinator at the University of Maryland Global Campus, supporting academic readiness at Jacksonville University and Take Stock in Children, and delivering tailored employment strategies at Goodwill and the Sulzbacher Center.
Kelly’s military roots run deep: she began her career in the Navy as an Electronics Technician Second Class aboard the USS Carney (DDG 64), leading divisional training and maintaining critical systems for ballistic missile defense operations. She also holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, an M.S. in Higher Education Administration, and a B.A. in Human Services.
