Mom of 3 helping busy families get relief from overwhelm in their homes through decluttering and sustainable systems for lasting transformation.

Get rid of the friction in your every day life 🌱 After reading Marie Kondo's book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, over a decade ago, I completed my own Tidying Festival and radically changed my homelife. With three kids at home, I needed to simplify and organize, and now I'm thrilled share my skills with clients as a KonMari™ Certified Consultant-in-Training!

It’s your closet. Your pantry. Your garage. I am not here to tell you what should stay and what should go.

Often people get stuck on the If, When, Maybe, In Case thoughts, and that’s where I can gently guide you to your final decision. But I’m not coming over to judge what you keep.

Some of you would hate what’s in my closet. Who am I to tell you what colors to wear, and how many pairs of leggings is enough? Decluttering is about realism. I don’t know how often you wear that tube top, but if you seem unsure, my impartial questions can draw out the truth, whether it’s “I need it” or “goodbye with love.”

If you’re powering through decisions with ease, I’m standing by looking for signs of panic, regret, people-pleasing, and future rebounds. What good does it do you to hire a pro to help you declutter if you end up with nothing to wear and a month of shopping hauls right after?

I’m not judging, but I am monitoring your expression, word choice, and mood.

The choice is yours. I’ll help you get there with confidence.

A lot of what we edit is not in good enough shape to be donated. It’s heartbreaking to think of our stuff ending up in the trash of course, but large donation centers get SO MUCH they end up trashing. Open products, clothes with stains or damage, incomplete sets, and so on.

It can help to imagine your stuff making someone else happy.

If we know it’s going in the trash, keep in mind it wasn’t making YOU happy. That’s why you’re letting it go. The act of curating is a gift to YOU that will make YOU happy when you have less to maintain and clean at home.

Decluttering benefits you, organizing benefits you, and if you uncover things you can donate to a worthy organization, Decluttering also benefits your community.

There is no shame in owning things that bring you happiness.
It’s a shame when we neglect those things instead of caring for them.
Everything in your home used to be money. Treat your stuff with the respect it deserves.

Declutter what’s getting in the way. Organize what’s left so everything has a home. When you’re not using it, put it to bed so it’s ready for next time.

If your stuff has earned a place in your home, take care of it. Otherwise your careful investment is just future trash.

How do you keep a home clutter free?

Don’t treat it like the dump.

If it’s in your home taking up space but you don’t use it or love it, it doesn’t belong. Your forgotten goods can bring someone else joy when you donate them. Your home will feel lighter if you take out the trash.

Keep a bin handy, and when it’s full, donate the contents.

A clutter-free home is the result of tiny everyday decisions, not one mad dash to purge.

If you’re sick of spending your weekends trying to organize the same spaces over and over, call me 📞!

We’ll work together to set up a system you can maintain so you don’t end up with duplicates or hidden treasures - everything is easy to find and ready to use.

Decluttering can be a stressful and emotional process if you go it alone. Working with a professional organizer can help you stay on task, make sure the project is completed, and maintain the system long term.

Check out the blog on my website (link in bio) to learn why Swedish Death Cleaning is an act of love, not a morbid tradition.

A powerful motivator for decluttering and organizing is helping others. If something tragic were to happen to you tomorrow, how would your family fare? Would they know how to keep the lights on? Where your valuables are kept? The approximate value of those valuables? Whether you had any specific wishes for your remains?

If a loved one has ever left you with a pile of questions like this, you can get your home in order now, even if there are no health concerns on the horizon, so that whoever is left behind has a roadmap to close your chapter. Adding chaos and confusion on top of grief is a terrible burden.

I use the principles of Swedish Death Cleaning to help me get my home decluttered and organized for *any* emergency. Whether I break my leg decluttering a garage or am just stuck in traffic, I can direct an emergency stand-in to the important paperwork, meal prep tools, and medication for my children.

If someone needed to step into your shoes, what would they find? If your child has an upset stomach while a babysitter is in charge, can she find the Pepto? And will it be expired?

Death Cleaning is a gift to your loved ones, not a sad process for the end of your life.

You don’t need any certification or training to call yourself an organizer, so people often ask why I took the KonMari Consultant path. The answer is community. When I was still deciding whether or not to sign up, I reached out to the listed consultant in Houston and she offered to meet for coffee. She was open, honest, and encouraging, and we still meet for coffee regularly!

Going into new homes each week can bring up new challenges - a work from home setup that’s keeping a client from truly unplugging, a client who needs a digital declutter, moms with ADHD, families that prioritize environmental sustainability, patients needing to downsize and reorient quickly due to sudden health concerns, and so much more.

With consultants all over the world, I can reach out for advice or take a class in the niche area I’m working on so that I can serve my clients in a life-changing way. People are unique, and one-size-fits all methods are not useful in every situation.

We declutter and organize, of course, but we also work toward stopping clutter at the door. We change your relationship with your space so that tidying becomes an easy daily reset and not a holiday weekend clunker.

If you’re spending this Labor Day Weekend cleaning out your garage instead of relaxing, give me a call 😉

Let’s work together so the rest of your holidays are dedicated to resting and recharging instead of chores.

Anyone can be an extra set of hands. You don’t need someone to hold the donation bag while you sort, you need someone to work through decisions by your side. Decluttering can be emotional, and working with a professional organizer helps keep you focused, on track, and calm.

No mess is too scary. No pile is too high. I’m a Decluttering Specialist because I love what I do - so don’t you dare hide your clutter before I come over! Show me your worst, and we’ll make it your best.

Decluttering my own home changed my life, and helping others do the same is a privilege I don’t take for granted 💚

Organizers - they’re just like you! As long as you’re a Nelly fan 😉 Thank you to Gumball fine jewelry for her Paul Wall post this week which got this song stuck in my head!

As a Decluttering Specialist I make sure I’m calm, supportive, and encouraging during sessions. My energy feeds the room just as much as my client’s. Decluttering and letting go is difficult emotional and mental labor, and as your partner, I’m here to make the process easier so you can donate and discard with confidence.

But please know that before and after the session, I am ruining my car speakers 😘

I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful shop today and I'm dying to have an event here! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable - she offers workshops for small groups and private events where you can rent out the whole space. I want to go for date night, girls' night, or anything I feel like celebrating!

I am very particular about what enters my minimal home, so a customized clean candle in a scent I selected myself absolutely sparks joy ✨
