The first day of our Meet & Greet Back-to-School Bash was a huge success! Our amazing families showed up ready to join our camping site, and we had a blast spending time together, meeting teachers, seeing friends, and enjoying some s’more time along the way.🏕️

Dear CONNECT Families,

I hope you and your children have had a wonderful, restful, and joy-filled summer break! As we gear up for the upcoming school year, I wanted to reach out and share some exciting news about leadership at KIPP CONNECT. This year marks my 13th year with our beloved KIPP CONNECT community, a milestone that fills my HEART with immense gratitude.

CONNECT holds a truly special place in my life. So much of my journey has happened right here alongside all of you, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me year after year.

This school year, I have the wonderful opportunity to step into a new role as Head of Schools.

What This Means for Your Family

I’m still here: I will remain deeply involved with CONNECT, supporting our campus while also working with other schools across our network.

Welcoming Our New School Leader: I am thrilled to announce that Gabrielle Schwarzlose will be stepping into the role of School Leader! Ms. Schwarzlose brings incredible vision, dedication, and passion to our school, and I know our students and staff will thrive under her leadership. Be sure to come by and meet Ms. Schwarzlose in person at our Back to School Bashes this week!

Ms. Schwarzlose, a native of Beaumont, Texas, is an experienced educator with a 17-year background spanning pre-K through 4th grade instruction across all subject areas.

A familiar face to the CONNECT community, Ms. Schwarzlose has spent the last 10 years dedicated to its success, serving five years in the classroom and five years in instructional leadership, supporting math, science, special education, and STAAR testing. Ms. Schwarzlose is deeply grateful for the privilege to lead and support CONNECT’s diverse community of students, staff, and families.

A Seamless Transition: I will be personally and directly supporting Ms. Schwarzlose as she steps into this role to ensure our school community continues to excel, maintain our high standards, and not miss a single beat.

Thank you for being my community, my inspiration, and my home for over a decade. I am so excited to continue partnering with you, and now alongside Ms. Schwarzlose, in this new chapter to ensure your children receive the absolute best education and support possible.

Este año marca mi año número 13 con nuestra querida comunidad de KIPP Connect, un logro que me llena el corazón de una inmensa gratitud.

CONNECT ocupa un lugar verdaderamente especial en mi vida. Gran parte de mi camino ha transcurrido aquí, al lado de todos ustedes, y estoy profundamente agradecido por la confianza que me han brindado año tras año.

Este año escolar tengo la maravillosa oportunidad de asumir un nuevo rol como Director de Escuelas (Head of Schools).
