Connect community

CONNECT community is a collaboration of evidence-informed organizations and schools who work in partnership with children and families in the geographic "Impact Zone" of Sharpstown/Gulfton to build a culture of success through tackling the disparities of education, health and income. Luke's United Methodist Church, will allow us to increase our impact by: empowering vulnerable families to take action to achieve their goals by focusing on their strengths; removing organizational silos in a deliberate way such that all resources are best leveraged for community impact; and catalyzing community collaboration in response to neighborhood and family goals. Using the Purpose Built Community model, CONNECT community's role is to bring diverse entities together to work effectively towards common goals.
