We will be starting our next Master Craftsman course; Wisdom & Reflection on August 30, 2026 @ 8pm via zoom. This course should take 9 weeks and will be completed by October 18th.

This course will be a more in-depth study of the Scottish Rite degrees 4th - 32nd.

The Master Craftsman Wisdom & Reflection course is designed to provide you further opportunity to increase your knowledge of the Scottish Rite. In this advanced level, the focus will be the lessons taught in each degree and their practical applications to your life. As in the Master Craftsman Ritual & History, your primary texts will be The Scottish Rite Ritual Monitor & Guide and A Bridge to Light.

Tonight the Houston Valley Scottish Rite completed for the second time hosting a Zoom class for the Master Craftsman course Ritual & History.

18 graduates who earned diplomas by dedicating their time over the last 6 weeks to learning and reading about the degrees and the History of the Scottish Rite.

These brother deserve to be commended.

Brothers, Rae Rotter & Kristopher Hatfield were presented with their Master Craftsman diplomas for the Porch and Middle chamber course.

In this course, students are introduced to the Scottish Rite Blue degrees through the book Albert Pike’s The Porch & The Middle Chamber: The Book of The Lodge by Arturo de Hoyos, 33° Grand Cross. Students also explored the history of the development of these degrees, examine early American craft lodge rituals and read and study a complete monitor of the Scottish Rite Blue degrees as completed by Albert Pike.
