Cooking classes and culinary training to enhance your kitchen skills! "Making and eating food is a necessity...creating delicious, memorable cuisine is an art!"
The Teaching Kitchen was started to give anyone access to the cooking skills that are taught in culinary schools in order to either provide a general grasp of cooking concepts or to hone and increase the skills that are already there. I am passionate about teaching culinary skills at all levels to anyone who wants to begin or improve in the kitchen! The Teaching Kitchen offers hands-on individualized instruction for single occasions or multiple class courses. I also teach courses through the Brighton Area Parks and Recreation community education program, beginning in Fall 2014.
Social Security is such a debacle at this point. Basically a criminal money laundering enterprise that the government has been running for decades.
Without massive changes, benefits drop 22% in 6 years, and it just gets worse from there because people like me who will be unlikely to see ANY of the money they've stolen from us don't want a SINGLE penny more taken, and removing the income cap for deductions won't solve the issue either. It's just not enough because the working population isn't growing. They don't invest the money properly and borrow from it, leaving IOUs in there, hoping that with a $40 billion deficit they can pay it back. Unreal. Fewer and fewer are contributors and more and more are net takers from the system, and people are living 30-40 years after retirement whereas they assumed people might pull for 10 years or so when they came up with this nightmare. And no, we aren't "contributing to an investment in our futures", it's an insurance program basically that hopes and assumes a lot of people will be gone before they collect and that the current population can fund those pulling right now. Like a Ponzi scheme. I wish people in the 1930s had been smart enough to say ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Disgusted.
