🚔Curious about life as a Deputy Sheriff? Join our Citizen's Police Academy and find out!

Sheriff Murphy invites residents to apply for the upcoming Academy to get a real-life look at a career with the Sheriff's Office.

Classes will start in April and will be held once a week for 17 weeks. We'll cover different topics like crime scene and accident investigations, Special Units, and a tour of the Jail. A special class will be held on a Saturday for emergency vehicle operations. And yes, that means driving a patrol car with lights and sirens on through our precision course.

If you or someone you know are interested, please contact Deputy Ray Marino via email at [email protected] or call 517-546-2440 Ext: 4351.
The class is limited to 14 participants, ages 18+.

Almost ready to roll! 🎓
