30 years ago, MTI recognized the need for fry cooking alternatives for kitchens who could not support a traditional vent or hood system. The goal was to create an easy to use, fully enclosed, countertop frying unit, equipped with its own fire suppression system, so that users could purchase an all-in-one deep frying system.
