Children and their caregivers are invited to join us on Saturdays in October for Drop-In Crafts. If you can't make it for these special craft days, we always have coloring sheets and projects to allow our young friends to be creative.

Join the Library for our series, where we’ll provide updates on the Library Building Project and help clarify some of the misinformation circulating in our community.

Rumor:
The Library Building Project passed the ballot vote so we’re sure to get the grant money.

Fact:
In addition to passing at the ballot, our provisional grant award of $13.3M requires an in-person 2/3 majority vote in support of the project at the November 16 Special Town Meeting.

A 2/3 majority vote passing at the Special Town Meeting gives the Library and the community we serve the opportunity to accept the grant award and continue moving the project forward. Your ‘yes’ vote will help ensure that our future library includes the essential amenities and accessibility features that Hudson residents identified as priorities when we actively sought community input.

Grant authorization is also based on the already approved preliminary designs which are on display at the Library and available at huds.pl/lbp. The next phase, Design Development, can begin only after approval at Town Meeting.

Special Town Meeting
The Library Building Project appears early on the Town Warrant. Residents are encouraged to arrive early and stay for the duration of the Town Meeting.

Childcare and transportation will be provided by the Hudson Health Department. Details will be announced soon.

Presented through the Library Speakers Consortium and sponsored by the huds.pl/friends, this talk will be delivered in English at 7 PM and in Spanish at 8 PM.
