We are SO grateful for HARTA - Humble Area Retired Teacher Association. They generously donated 350 books and the children at summer camp could pick some out to take home. Thank you HARTA! 📚🤍

In science this week we learned about the different types of clouds, what they’re made of and what each type means about the weather. We did a “cloud in a jar” experiment by filling a jar with water (air), adding shaving cream (cloud), and dropping colored water on top - the colored water saturates the “cloud” and falls through, demonstrating how rain works. The kiddos also collaborated to create their own class clouds!
Reminder, CLC is closed Friday April 3rd.

This week we had a very exciting visit from two therapy dogs, Jet & Gidget! The students learned about what a therapy dog is, how to take care of a dog and the difference between a service animal and a therapy dog. They also enjoyed spending time with & petting both dogs. 🐾
