While imprisoned, Kyle wrote Penitentiary Preacher: Sermons from Behind the Wall, taking readers behind prison bars to witness the transformative power of the Gospel firsthand.
Today, Kyle holds a BA in Pastoral Ministry with a secondary emphasis in Counseling and Psychology from Judson College at Southeastern and serves as a field minister with Game Plan for Life.
His story is one of redemption, purpose, and what can happen when God gets ahold of a life.

Your attitude at work matters to God. Whether you love your job, are waiting for your next opportunity, or feel like nobody notices what you do, remember who you ultimately work for. Excellence can be an act of worship.

Today, give your best effort, even if nobody is watching.

Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Doing the right thing can get exhausting when you don’t immediately see results. Keep going. Your faithfulness may be producing something you cannot see yet.

Keep doing one good thing today that you’ve been tempted to give up on.

A new month is here, and it’s another opportunity to put God first. 🙏
Whatever October brings, we can trust that God is already there. Take time this month to pray over your family, your decisions, your relationships, your work, and the things you’re carrying that you haven’t given to Him yet. Don’t just ask God to bless your plans. Ask Him to guide them!

Let’s make October a month of deeper faith, stronger prayer, and a greater willingness to follow where God leads.

Putting God first doesn’t mean everything in your life suddenly becomes easy. It means you stop trying to carry life entirely on your own.
When God becomes your priority, your decisions begin to change. Your perspective changes. You learn to seek His wisdom before your own, trust His timing when you don’t understand it, and measure success by more than what the world says matters.

Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. God may not give you everything you want, but He will teach you what truly matters and guide you through whatever comes next.
Put Him first today. Trust Him with the rest. 🙏❤️
